The Diamond Classic follows the BBR payout structure.

The Diamond Classic splits added money payouts, along with 35% of the entry fees, 70/30. 70% goes to owner/rider and 30% gets paid out to DC Slot holders.

Check Issuance Process
Checks are mailed by the 15th of the month following your event.

We partner with a trusted third-party provider, Checkflo, to handle the secure printing and mailing of all checks. Checkflo operates from a secure facility located in New York. Once mailed, delivery typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your location and the postal service.

Please note: While Checkflo offers limited tracking through USPS, it is not a guaranteed tracking system. Updates are only available if the check is scanned by the post office during its route. If scans are available, we are happy to share the latest tracking information upon request. However, some checks may not show any tracking if USPS does not scan them — this part is unfortunately beyond our control.

If You Have Not Received Your Check:

Step 1: Please verify that your name is not listed on the Missing W-9 Form.

Step 2: If your W-9 is on file and 10 business days have passed since the 15th, kindly complete our Missing Check Form to initiate an inquiry.

Alternative Option:
If more than 90 days have passed, you may request a reissued check or initiate a stop payment. Please note that a $75 processing fee applies to stop payment requests.

The Diamond Classic has always focused on the breeder. We are a breeders incentive and the DC Slot payout will go to the breeder on the registration papers first as long as they are an active DC Slot holder. 

In the case of two Diamond Classic Slot Holders being tied to the same winning horse, we will look to the breeder first. If the listed breeder on the winning horses registration paperwork isn’t one of the slot holders it will go to the owner of the Stallion that is an active DC slot holder. 

Here is the order we look at for cases of multiple slot holders having ties to a winning horse. Breeder of running horse, Stallion Owner, Horse Owner, Mare Owner, Stallion Station.

Event entry fees are based on the amount of added money. 

$500 added money = $30 entry fee

$1,000 added money = $40 entry fee

$2,000 added money = $45 entry fee

$2,500 added money = $50 entry fee

$5,000 added money = $65 entry fee

$10,000 added money = $100 entry fee

$20,000 added money = $150 entry fee

$25,000 added money = $200 entry fee

The Diamond Classic reserves the right to adjust entry fees at any time

Entry Fees Will Be Distributed As Follows 35% Is Added To The Current Event 35% Will Go To Next Years Available Money 10% Will Be Paid To The Slot Holders Equally And 20% Will Go To The Diamond Classic LLC

In the case of a tie, we will issue equal payouts to both riders.

In the case of no eligible times in a division, that amount will be rolled into the other qualifying divisions. 

We do an equal payout across all divisions.

All slot holders and their offspring must be able to compete at a producers event. If a slot holder violates a producers rule they may be placed on a probation or a temporary suspension, but any permanent suspensions we cannot add money to those races.

Eligibility is based on our Slot holders and Stallion list. 

In order for your horse to be eligible it would either need to list one of our farm slot holders as the breeder on record or be an offspring of one of our Stallions.

Our nomination fee for the rest of 2023 is as follows:

$250 for any horse 2 and younger.

$350 for any horse 3 and older.

Beginning January 1st, 2024 our nomination fee will be as follows:

• >$250 up to September 1st of their 3yr old year
• $350 For 3 year old paid after September 1st
• $2,000 4-8 year olds
• $400 9 year olds and up

Nope! Our nomination fee is a 1 time, lifetime nomination that stays with the horse. So if the horse is ever sold, the new owner wouldn’t have to re-nominate them again.
